These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ConvertGreen.com and any related content, calculators, forms, email communications, proposal-review tools, product recommendations, and referral services (collectively, the “Services”). “Convert Green,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of ConvertGreen.com.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the Services, submitting a form, or clicking an affiliate or provider link, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. The Services are intended primarily for users in the United States.

2. What Convert Green does

Convert Green provides educational content, research-based comparisons, planning tools, proposal-review information, affiliate links, and optional introductions to independent energy providers. We may help a user organize questions, understand common proposal terms, or identify a potential provider. We do not promise a marketplace with every available provider or any minimum number of quotes.

3. What Convert Green is not

Convert Green is not a solar installer, electrician, general contractor, engineer, architect, utility, government agency, tax advisor, attorney, financial advisor, broker, lender, insurance producer, equipment manufacturer, or warranty provider. Content and responses are general educational information, not professional advice or a substitute for an on-site assessment, licensed design, legal review, tax advice, underwriting decision, or safety inspection.

4. Estimates, calculators, incentives, and proposal reviews

Calculators and examples use assumptions that may not match your property, utility tariff, weather, energy use, equipment, financing, taxes, or local rules. Incentives, tax provisions, rebates, interconnection rules, net-metering policies, prices, product availability, and financing terms can change without notice. A proposal review identifies questions or common risk factors; it is not approval of a system, provider, contract, savings claim, tax position, or financing offer. Verify material decisions with the relevant licensed professional, utility, tax advisor, attorney, lender, manufacturer, or government agency.

5. Referrals and compensation

Convert Green may receive a flat fee, lead fee, success-based fee, or other compensation for an authorized introduction to an independent provider. This financial relationship may affect which providers are available through the Services. We do not represent that every provider or price in your market is included. Submitting an initial request authorizes Convert Green to respond about that request. We will identify a provider before sharing your contact or project information and will share it only after you agree to the introduction or direct us to make it. A provider is an independent third party, and your contract is with that provider—not Convert Green.

6. Communications and consent

When you submit contact information, you authorize Convert Green to respond about the request using the contact method you select. Choosing phone or text permits ordinary person-to-person follow-up by Convert Green about that request. It does not, by itself, authorize automated telemarketing calls, prerecorded calls, or marketing robotexts. Consent to marketing is not a condition of receiving information from us.

If we later offer automated or recurring text messages, we will request separate, specific consent and provide applicable messaging terms. You may withdraw permission for calls or texts by telling us during a communication or emailing convertgreenonline@gmail.com. For any automated text program, replying STOP will also opt out. Revocation will be honored as required by applicable law, although we may still send non-marketing messages necessary to complete a request you initiated.

7. Newsletter and marketing email

Newsletter enrollment is optional and separate from a project request. You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional or requested-response emails may still be sent when necessary to address an inquiry.

8. Affiliate links and advertising

Some links are affiliate links. Convert Green may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, including through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. We may also display advertising or sponsored placements. A commission does not increase the price charged by the retailer solely because you used our link, but prices and terms are controlled by the retailer. Material relationships are disclosed near relevant recommendations and in our Affiliate Disclosure.

9. Provider and retailer responsibility

Providers, retailers, lenders, manufacturers, utilities, and other third parties are solely responsible for their statements, offers, licenses, insurance, products, services, contracts, financing, warranties, work, safety, privacy practices, and legal compliance. Convert Green may conduct limited screening or review public information, but this is not a guarantee. You are responsible for verifying credentials and contract terms before proceeding.

10. User submissions and responsibilities

You agree that information you submit is accurate, current, and yours to provide. Do not upload Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, medical records, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Before uploading a proposal, redact sensitive personal or financial data. You grant Convert Green a limited license to use submitted information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, document, and improve the requested Services and as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to violate law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights; transmit malware; probe or disrupt security; scrape or copy the site at scale without written permission; impersonate another person; submit fraudulent leads; harass users or providers; or use information obtained through the Services for unsolicited marketing.

12. Intellectual property

The Site’s original text, selection, arrangement, graphics, branding, calculators, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Convert Green and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Services for personal, noncommercial decision-making. Product names, company names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

13. Third-party links

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience or commerce. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, accessibility, content, pricing, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that party’s terms and policies.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CONVERT GREEN DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND RESULTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR PROJECT.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONVERT GREEN AND ITS OWNERS, PERSONNEL, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS; PROPERTY DAMAGE; PERSONAL INJURY; FINANCING COSTS; TAX CONSEQUENCES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM A THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT, PROVIDER, CONTRACT, INSTALLATION, OR COMMUNICATION.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid directly to Convert Green for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event. This limitation does not apply where law prohibits it.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Convert Green and its owners, personnel, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, or information or content you submit without authority.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law applies. Before filing a claim, you and Convert Green agree to make a good-faith effort for 30 days to resolve it informally by emailing a written description to convertgreenonline@gmail.com. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in Colorado, and each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue.

18. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update the Services or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date and will apply prospectively when posted unless another effective date is stated. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the Site, or legal rights.

19. General terms

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with incorporated policies and any specific written agreement for a paid Service, are the entire agreement about use of the Services. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
